Emerging Leaders of New York Art has posted our first ever podcast, recorded at last month's Creative Conversation, "Navigating an Arts Career in these Economic Times".
The successful event featured special guest Geri Thomas, President of Thomas and Associates, and ELNYA members as "inverse panelists". Geri opened up the conversation with a presentation that touched on issues such as determining organizational fit, enhancing job security, and working as a freelancer. She spoke explicitly about hiring practices, equity in the work place, and current and chronic challenges in our industry among many other things. Geri's insightful comments kicked off an exciting conversation amongst her and our conversation leaders.
