Description:
This installation took place in the Ann Flack Boseman Gallery at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. The installation included 15 collaborators working in sculpture, film and audio. We wanted people to re-imagine something mundane, something ordinary. Everyday we use millions of plastic bottles and plastic bags, we use so many of them that they become invisible like air. On a visceral level, I wanted people to 'see the air' so to speak, to touch and consider plastic bottles and bags.

Description:
WEAVE was a group exhibition at the Cameron Art Museum in 2006. Dixon Stetler and I created a large scale environment of woven objects, shapes and forms. We spent six days and nights, living in the museum, weaving and constructing the environment. The woven material included extension cords, ethernet cable, garden hoses, insulated copper, and a host of other discarded industrial wiring.

Description:
The Endless Tower of Tires was a collaboration with the late Robert Delford Brown (pictured). Bob and I began working together in 2006 when he moved to Wilmington to work on a retrospective at the Cameron Art Museum. The tower of tires was inspired by a wooden sculpture by Constantine Brancusi titled Endless Column. The tower is dedicated to Allan Kaprow, who constructed an environment of tires in the backyard of Martha Jackson's gallery in Manhattan in the 1960's.
