Artist Statement
“As in water face, reveals face, so as a man’s heart reveals a man”. My choreographic aesthetic is to create work that touches, the mind, body and heart of all race and gender, on stage and off stage (sites specific works). My inspiration is the ancestral maternal knowledge that lives within our body. My work is created on a national and transnational basis where people from all around the world can relate to it. My work includes various elements: physicality, speed, internal rhythms, and authentic beauty and is a mixture of Ballet, Modern and African Diaspora Movements.
