Clothes Swap!

Dear ROOTS Annual Meeting attendees,

ROOTS is hosting a

This is your chance to clean out your closets and drawers of all
those things you haven't worn in a million years, and your chance to go home with a whole new wardrobe FOR FREE!!!

Q: What is a Clothes Swap?

A: An opportunity to clean out your closets AND an opportunity to
have a whole new wardrobe for free!

Q: How does it work?

A: Everyone (who wants to) brings their contributions. One by
one, we sit on the "throne" and tell (short) stories about
each piece. Whoever wants that piece calls out "Me!" and it
gets tossed their way. At the end of the swap, everyone tries on their
new duds, and if there is something that doesn't fit or doesn't look
good, you pass it on to whoever else called out "me" after
you did.

Q: If I don't have anything to bring, can I still take
clothes?

A: Definitely!

Q: What if no one is my size?

A: Don't worry. There are always clothes for every size, no
matter how big or small!

Q: Who is welcome?

A: Women, men, children of all sizes. If you wear clothes, this
is for you!

Q: Are there fights over clothes?

A: Absolutely not. The atmosphere is one of humor, sharing, and
fun. Since it's all for free, if you don't get an item you want, don't
worry, there will be another one coming a few minutes later.

Q: What will happen to the clothes left over at the end of the
Swap?

A: They will be taken to a thrift shop in Asheville.

Q: When will this happen?

A: The Clothes Swap will be an Open Space on Friday, stay
