This is a growing collection of technical tutorials for the site.  It is meant to help you navigate through the different resources on the site, and serve as an active learning tool for navigating the web and this site.

This new website doesn't only serve as a place to give people who come on the site information.  It is also a tool with the ability to connect ROOTS members in a way that is unprecedented for this organization, but the tools is only useful if used.  As time goes by, this set of tutorials will serve as a drivers manual. 

Logins, Registrations, Passwords

There has been some confusion regarding the differences between logging into the site vs. registrations.  Hopefully the following tutorial will answer your questions.

Woops...did I register right?

I am going to go over, in a little more detail, the process of registration so that you can troubleshoot where in the process the registration for membership or the annual meeting went awry.

As was mentioned in the tutorial about logging in, registration, and membership, there are three different types of registration-like activities that you go through in the process of registering for the annual meeting, or for membership:

Use Firefox.

Firefox is a better browser.  Better than Internet Explorer, better than Safari. To download and install it now is simple and easy.  If you use any of the other browsers, as a member, you might experience difficulty accessing some of the options when you are creating blogs, entering forms, and uploading/downloading files to your post.
