Use Firefox.

Firefox is a better browser.  Better than Internet Explorer, better than Safari. To download and install it now is simple and easy.  If you use any of the other browsers, as a member, you might experience difficulty accessing some of the options when you are creating blogs, entering forms, and uploading/downloading files to your post.

Firefox can be used by Mac and PC users alike.

Internet Explorer is the Walmart of the browser world.  Because Internet Explorer is exclusively used on the windows operating system, it hosts a large share of internet traffic.  They have dominated the market.  There are reasons this could be a good thing. One would think that Internet Explorer would be at the top of it's game in terms of usability, etc.

There is a group of web standards that have been created by the development community.  These standards give developers something solid to latch onto when developing applications for the web with respect to coding conventions and grammar.  They provide an environment in which programmer working on the web can interact with and play with one another.

What this means is that people who develop for the web often have to create two sets of codes: one for Internet Explorer, and another for everyone else.  To  make matters worse, the ways that Internet Explorer is choosing not to play by the rules has not been released to the larger community.  As a result, coders have to find and fix errors using trial and error.  While often these fixxes work, sometimes they don't and will create unpredictable results.
