Donate to Alternate ROOTS’ Solidarity Fund

Within our ROOTS Community, a relief fund has been a long-envisioned support for members who find themselves in need of immediate, no-strings-attached funds. As the impact of COVID-19 is felt throughout our membership, this fund is becoming a reality, but its purpose is broader than this current crisis.

The Solidarity Fund provides financial assistance to ROOTS members experiencing financial need including – but not limited to – loss related to COVID-19, theft, natural disaster, health emergency, or an inability to pay an outstanding bill.

Our mission calls us to support artists and cultural workers, strive to eliminate all forms of oppression, and commit ourselves to social and economic justice. This is our charge – the collective work we are called to do, the right work at the right time. The Solidarity Fund is one more step in more fully living out our mission.

As we launch the Solidarity Fund, we are also looking to replenish it, and enthusiastically welcome your contributions. Thank you for your donation!
