You are invited to participate in a workshop for artists, organizers, and activists who believe in the power of art & culture to advance social justice and community change.  

The workshop will include: 

  • Exploring a framework for cultural organizing
  • Introduction to the principles and practice of Story Circles, and 
  • Learning Labs, with a local focus on upcoming NOLA social justice events. 

There will also be time for networking, art-making, information exchange, and formulating concrete action steps.


 

Registration fee is $20 to $40 per person, on a sliding scale. This includes lunch. If you have more than one person coming from your organization, additional people can come for $15 each. Please pay online at www.artsanddemocracy.org (under “Donate Now”) OR bring cash, check or money order to the workshop itself. No one turned away for lack of funds.
