About the Group:
Jump-Start Performance Co. is a collective of performing artists dedicated to the discovery and support of new ideas in the arts and arts education and is committed to the creation of art that is a lasting voice of diverse cultures and communities. With a long history of continuous and vibrant artistic growth, the company’s work, although nationally recognized, is firmly and proudly rooted in San Antonio, TX and its cultural richness. Since 1985, Jump-Start has created, produced or presented over 500 original performance works and the company’s educational programs have served over 110,000 individuals, over 90 schools and community groups.
Current Projects:
“I’ll Remember for You” is a two-person play on Alzheimer’s. This funny, sad and courageously honest look at Suarez’s experiences as the primary caregiver for her mother with Alzheimer’s was listed as one of San Antonio’s Best of 2010 in Stage by the San Antonio Express News.

- Single Performance: $1000-$1500
- Multiple Performances: $750-$1000/ea
- One-day Residency: $300-$600
- Multiple-Day Residency: $500-800/day
- One-Week Residency: $2250-3000
*Prices for other structures up to negotiation with presenter.
*These fees do not include housing and transportation.
