Alternate ROOTS Launches Rebrand/Redesign Process because “WE MUST SHINE!”

ROOTS latest Strategic Plan says, “We must shine. We have a wealth of intergenerational knowledge held within our membership. We are doing amazing work that the world needs to know about.”

To this end, ROOTS is embarking on a 14-month process of rebranding and redesigning our website, logo, and all of our communications. This process will be led by SoulCenter, “a community and design studio at the intersection of BlkArts and innovation.” SoulCenter is led by ROOTS members and was a part of the 2020 Partners in Action cohort. Read more about SoulCenter’s vision of waymaking in the South on the ROOTS blog!

ROOTS member participation will be absolutely essential to this process. Members, staff, and ExComm are invited and encouraged to participate via regular workshops held by the SoulCenter team (dates forthcoming). We are also seeking 5 members to join the Design Advisory Circle, which will work closely with the SoulCenter and Communications team throughout the process.
